Group Meditation...
Meditation has often been surrounded in mystery, however it is really a very simple process. It has been practiced for centuries by many spiritual disciplines and religions. It is a way to allow our minds to become quiet, stopping the incessant chatter in our heads. A few of the many benefits of a regular practice of meditation include relaxation, stress reduction, lowering of blood pressure, and inner peace. It also allows us to get in touch with our creativity and our creator.
There are many ways to meditate and almost anyone can learn at least one. We will explore different methods of meditation, including sounds, words, visualizations, and breathing techniques, to name a few. Methods to quiet the mind may be discussed. We will have time to meditate, helping each individual to become comfortable with the process. Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Group Meditation will be held in the beautiful Quiet Room.
Please Note! There will be no meditation group during the summer...
