In Kripalu Yoga, you learn the basics of a yoga practice:
+Insight into the mind/body/spirit relationship
+Breathing techniques to release and rejuvenate
+Respecting your body's wisdom and limitation
+A sequence of poses to practice at home
What do I wear? Wear loose comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.
What do I bring? At Agape Healing Center, we provide all props. If you have a sticky mat, we suggest you bring your own, but we have plenty for everyone is you don't have one. Please bring a bottle of water.
Classes are held in the beautiful Oak Room at Agape Healing Center. Spaces are limited, so please register early by calling us now!
About your instructor...
Lori first started teaching yoga in 1981 in Boston, MA at Women's World Health Spa. She went on to study Yoga at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health and received her teacher's certificate in 1992. She frequently returns to Kripalu for continuing education classes and is also a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. Lori has been teaching yoga at Wellspan Center for Mind/Body Health and New Visions Books & Gifts for many years. When not teaching yoga, Lori and her husband are busy raising their three sons on their country property outside East Berlin, PA.
